Mr. Wilson has been a member of the State Bar of California since December 2006 and has specialized in real property law and real estate law since 2011. Mr. Wilson has a diverse background in real estate law, joining the Blake Law Firm after spending three years as a Directing Attorney with California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc. (“CRLA”), a nonprofit legal services provider for low-income and rural California residents. Mr. Wilson managed and directed CRLA’s Mobile Home Ownership Preservation program, a team of attorneys and case workers dedicated to defending the legal rights of homeowners who reside in mobile home parks throughout the State of California. Prior to CRLA Inc.,
Mr. Wilson was a Senior Attorney with Community Legal Advisors Inc. (“CLA”) and specialized in common interest development / community association law. He advised association property managers and board of directors in a general counsel capacity, providing legal advice and opinion letters, and handled civil litigation regarding CC&R’s enforcement, recovery of delinquent assessments, injunctive relief, quiet title, judicial foreclosures, and enforcement of federal and state housing discrimination laws, among other community association related litigation.
Mr. Wilson previously served as Chair of the Real Property Law Section (“RPLS”) Executive Committee (California Lawyers Association - 2024-25 term) and currently remains active on the Executive Committee as an Advisor. He has been an active member of the CLA-RPLS Executive Committee since 2019. Mr. Wilson created and chaired the inaugural Homeowners Association / Common Interest Development Practice Area Committee for the RPLS Ex-Com in 2019, and the PAC remains active today.
Mr. Wilson obtained his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA, and his bachelor’s degree in English from UCLA. Mr. Wilson’s hobbies include reading, photography, music, cinema, and baseball.
